TONIGHT 4/18 @ 9:45 PM I will be playing an impromptu benefit concert for AMNESTY FOR ALL IMMIGRANTS at Balazo Gallery, 2183 Mission @ 18th in preparation for the El Primero de Mayo San Francisco March! See Flier This gig came miraculously out of the blue after at the tail end of a few weeks working on the film set of Mission St Rhapsody, a beautiful story set in La Mission written by Peter Bratt and starring his brother Benjamin Bratt. After which was followed by week and a half of travelling in Ajijic, Queretaro, and Guanajuato, Mexico with my Beloved! Ahhhh! Viva Mexico! Blessed experiences which all improved my Spanish and re-ignited my heart to pay attention to the struggles of my immigrant brothers and sisters. Losing my passsport for a few hours in Mexico reminded me how sacred freedom is by way of my U.S. citizenship. Read Blog. May all who wish to find the freedom they seek. So as the Universe would have it I have been blessed with this wonderful opportunity to rally for all my immigrant brothers and sisters in Spirit through Song! Paying forward the blessing of freedom given my father and subsebsequent relatives who came to the U.S from Nigeria!
