I sold my first DVD on May 17th 2008 at Cafe Bazaar. In fact I sold a few that night. My friend Pete Luchter who videoed a gig at the Rockit Room brought me a DVD of the event, titled with a beautiful label. I sold my first DVD to my friend Dan Smith who is a director and extremely talented. Dan cast me some time ago in a Cisco industrial where I played the role of a Rockstar... Go figure. Now a few short years later I am now selling him a DVD of an Organic Astral Soul & Rock Concert. Hmmm? Thank you Dan for your generous support through the years. I am forever indebted to your faith in me especially through the darkest years of my life. Thank you for continuing your creative journey and blossoming into the best indutrial director around. Lol :-) Also Dan's short film As We Dream made a few runs around the world. He cast me in that as well. Hopefully I will have an opportunity one day to pay forward his generosity tenfold in this lifetime. The awakening here is that at last week's Rainbow-A-Fair gig, a benefit show to raise money for Commodore Sloat Elementary School, a man I had never met before introduced himself and proceeded to prophesy that I should and would have a DVD to sell soon. I looked at him with wonder knowing and not really knowing where and who all had footage of me perfoming music. I listened to him with open ears hoping that what he believed would ring true some day. Yes, I am always praying to remain open to the Universal gnawing.. I mean calling within me to seek full expression of the muse through music as I am blessed to receive it. The words this strange man spoke manifest into a truth .. that I did not coordinate. Raw footage existed but the Divine synchronicity that allowed it to be good enough to press and be available for anyone to see and to be delivered by my firend Pete is AMAZING! I must find the sainted man who planted the seed. And thank him. Also I will write a song to express my thanks for the ongoing support and encouragement of friends, strangers, and family. THANK YOU!!
